I am Head of Humanities at a secondary school in Bristol, where I teach History and Politics. I have authored GCSE textbooks for Hodder and Pearson and am a senior examiner for Edexcel. I am a fellow of the Schools History Project, as well as being their web manager and regional adviser for the southwest. I have previously run inset with Keynote and Philip Allan Events, and spoken at events including the SHP and HA conferences and Teachmeet History Icons. My book, Becoming an Outstanding History Teacher, was published by Routledge in 2018.
